THE UK’s first EVER art car parade is taking to the streets of Manchester today.

The brainchild of outdoor performance producers Walk The Plank, it will feature the funkiest cars, bikes, trucks, scooters and even solar-powered contraptions that have been transformed by artists from across the UK.

?2000 is up for grabs – and vehicles will be judged in various categories including most ingenious and the best driven by a non-polluting fuel.
