Price comparison website www.carrentals.co.uk has appointed Debbie Sowden as head of supplier relations.

She joins from Holiday Autos, where she worked for nine years in a variety of sales roles before being appointed acting commercial director in 2006.

Before this Debbie worked with North American specialist Getaway Vacations and Lunn Poly.

In her new role, Debbie will manage the development of business with the 45 car hire companies currently featured on the Carrentals.co.uk site and establish agreements with new suppliers.
